TCVS is a mobile surgical practice. The great majority
of surgical procedures are carried out in the hospital
of the referring veterinarian. A diagnosis and
therapeutic plan are determined by the primary
veterinary doctor and surgeon together. The primary
veterinarian will arrange the procedure directly with
TCVS, working to accommodate the scheduling needs of all
involved parties. This coordinated effort facilitates
the optimal result, allowing the surgery to be performed
in a location that is both convenient and familiar to
the client and their pet.
Most surgical procedures and follow-up care will be
performed at the clients’ regular veterinary clinic.
Those patients that require more advanced diagnostic or
therapeutic care are referred to a facility where such
services are offered. The patient’s medical condition
will determine the optimal location for each surgical
procedure.
